I’ve been back since Tuesday, but I’ve been unwinding and putting the regular life back together since then. The above photo is pretty much the epitome of the trip. Tomorrow is the annual Comix & Stories comic convention here in Vancouver. The cool thing is that it’s getting a change of venue this year and moving into the conference rooms of the Vancouver Art Gallery, which used to be the old courthouse. Beautiful building with stone lions and marble stairs, worth the trip for the architecture alone. But it’s all about the comics tomorrow.
I’ll be there sharing table space with the folks from Cloudscape selling some buttons and micro comics as well as the anthology I took part in. If you’re in need of adventure on Sunday, you should swing by and say hello! Admission is free and there are going to be a lot of talented guests there I’ll hopefully get to meet.
