Oh looky! I got my copies of Historyonics!
Sorry for the blurry picture, but I’m kind of blurry right now.
Historyonics is an anthology I’m part of with the Cloudscape Comics Collective. There was a history theme with an emphasis on family so I whipped up an eight page story loosely retelling a tale of my Dad’s youth.
But I’m in excellent company. Steve LeCoulliard, Jonathon Dalton, Angela Melick, Leanne Riding, Severine Leigbundgut, Jeff Ellis, Toren Atkinson, Caitlin Russell, Jack Hume, Colin Upton, Alex, Jody Kramer, Christopher Leinonen and Kevin Forbes all contributed some super cool stories to the book. It’s a great mix of different styles of drawing and story telling.
It will be making it’s debut at APE this weekend, with a launch party later in Vancouver in November. If you’re at APE, come say hi and check the book out. It’s 112 pages of squarebound fun with a colour cover and black and white interior for the recession-tastic price of $10! But if you’ve got a really cool book you want to trade at APE, I’ll be bartering with my personal copies.
